I am completely new to the psp world as I just got my psp and now want to modify it. First of all, I assume that there are currently emulators for n64 games? could someone please give me a brief overview of the kind of quality I can expect? Will it be at par or just below actually playing it on the n64? how many games are available in full 100% working condition? what is the average size per n64 game?

yes there is a n64 emulator called daedalus it is currently at r9 and just got audio.
i can tell which gamess will work because ive only tested mario 64
it isnt as good as playing it on n64 (its an emulation, what do you expect?) it runs close to full speed with no audio though
rom sizes can range from as low as 5MB to as high as 20Mb or more.
i recommened downloading it.

for the daedalus R9 emu the ReadMe says:

"Copy the Daedalus folder to the \PSP\GAME\ folder on your PSP (for
the v1.5+ firmware release you should also copy across the Daedalus%
folder). "

Is 3.03OE-C considered 1.5+ or not because its cfw?

Only a few roms work at playable speed. With the new sound, I'm surprised the fps hasn't dropped too significantly. Super Mario 64, Zelda OOT, and Quest 64 are a few of the games that are fairly playable, but Mario 64 is the best.

I've got a few roms downloaded, but now everytime I go to run daedalus I get an error that won't allow me to play the games. I unzip daedalus then I put both the "daedalus" and "daedalus%" folders under \PSP\GAME. Did I need something else in those folders or do my roms need to be renamed or what? (they currently are labeled like this: Super Mario 64 (U) [!].z64)
