I tried finding my old thread on this subject, but no such luck. I Bought a LG lightscribe DVD burner. I made a few covers with then it started to reject the discs. I thought at the time that it was because AnyDVD was running. Well needless to say that wasn't the case. So then I started to lean towards media, I have since bought Verbatim lightscribe discs; same problem. It will not recognise the disc. I bought the burner around Christmas at Best Buy, but don't have a receipt. Do you think it could be the problem? I was going to try to return it hoping they'd have a record of me buying it because I used my rewards card. But it is kind of a hassle to take it out of the Computer only to find it wasn't the problem. I just don't know what else it could be.
You should be able to go through My Account and locate the threads you are subscribe to.Your thread should still be there unless you deleted it. If it's not a very old thread,I may be able to search for it?
You are talking about burning the disc only,and not scribing it?
What's the brand name,model#,and current firmware version of that LS burner?
What's the speed rate of those Verbatims? Exact MID code would be helpful.
I'm not sure what you mean by rewards card. However if you put it
on your credit card and they give you a problem trying to return it,
you can file a complaint with the credit card company. First you call
the credit card-then you must confirm your conversation in writing.
If the product is defective the credit card company will withhold the
payment until the dispute is settled. At this point a satisfactory
solution gets quite a bit easier.
It burns fine, but won't scribe. I am not sure of the model# but it's a LG.
And to answer your question Shardel Rewards Zone is a program that BB has that you get points when you buy things that you can cash for later. I got $60 once, but I hat to spend like over $2K. I called them and they did look it up and I can exchange it. I was just curious if anyone else had heard of this happening before.
