Hi,

Can anyone confirm if i have a faulty DVD recorder?

I'm trying to get all my old VHS tapes onto disc they are not original tapes they are recorded from the TV so shouldn't have copy protection on them.

The problem is as soon as i connect my Video Recorder into the dvd recorder i will get a picture and sound as usual, then it changes to a black screen with sound, and this is without a tape being played.

I can record from my SKY+ without any problems.

Any ideas as it's driving me mad
