[b]I have just installed peerguardian2 and set it up. It was stopping me from connecting to a lot of internet sites. I switched off the HTTP blocking and I was able to use my web browser normally. Is it alright to leave it turned off? Are there any other fixes for this? Thanks.[/b]

Nope, nothing wrong there. No fixes required. Personally, I don't have it running at all unless it's needed. Before each and every time I use it, I make sure it's all up to date though. Just to be sure.
