how do i enter codes in Sims 2. I tried [Ctrl]+[Shift]+C but cant pull up code box. Is this the right code or is there another way?

Pause your sims game,then click and hold Ctrl,Shift,and C.then a small bar will apear at the top of the screen,click the bar and type:expand.then a larger bar will apear,click the smaller bar at the bottom and type any of the following below.(Hint:You can type in more than one cheat.) If even this instruction does not help, so we must indeed try something other.
