What does size have to do with things?
i actually think the bigger it is, the easier it is to install.

sure but not easy to place in the console worse they placed it next to a heat source which can kill chips

not very smart

someone needs to write a better tutorial for this and even better use a smaller chip

In this case i agree with kafluke,
It's easy to find a fault but to do better is harder.

I think the ProASIC series chips are really good to work with.If you plan on working on a modchip for a console I would suggest looking into them.It costs a lot to get a programmer for them though, but the design and reliability for ProASIC chips are the best you will probably find. You can find some very good parts on this site http://www.mouser.com/ also.

what got me scared was the fact the site doesn't tell you weather the firmware currenttly boots games and runs in stealth mode if you notice the dvd firmware for the chip is in beta form

scary
