Okami backup and Cogswap

I'm using the PS2 MC Exploit also known as cogswap. I've successfully ripped and burned a game called Okami the NTSC version for the PS2 on RICOHJPN DVD+R's at speeds of x4, x8, x12 and even changed the book-type setting to DVD-Rom. I've been using Sonic Mega Collection Plus as my high TOC disc for several previous backups which have successfully loaded both with and without dummy files on my V4 PS2... The case with my Okami backups are that they just refuse to load and hang on the black screen after the regular cogswap procedure. Now I'm wondering what am I doing wrong in this situation, and if there are any limitations as to what type of media cogswap could possibly load?

Works fine for me with CogSwap. You can try using a different loader, auch as Swap Magic: http://orthogonl.byethost9.com/files/PS2/elf/SWAPMAGIC3.8.ELF

Strange, everytime I want to refresh the TOC it says "Invalid PS2 Disc" with several of the TOC discs I usually use for cogswap.
