does napster subscription service watermark mp3 files?

I have been doing some research for a research paper & have found that napster subscription service dosn't currently appear to watermark their mp3 downloads. They use the microsoft DRM which, if you go to microsoft and read about the DRM you see nothing about a digital watermark.

It appears that the industry will eventually turn into a watermarked system and DRM will vanish. Currently though it looks like microsoft DRM is all that exist on these mp3 files.


Does anyone have any contradictory info or different info that I may have not come accross, please reply.
