I accidently corrupted my memory card and now I cant save or copy any games on it. People have told me about Action Replay Max, but I have no idea what that is or where I can get it. I dont want to go out and buy special things to fix it, I just need to know an easy way to totaly wipe the memory card clean. If you know a way please give step by step instructions on how to fix it. Thanks!

this really should be in the ps2 hardware discussion.

i remember this happening to me a while ago... can u open the memory card in the ps2 explorer (when u turn it on and dont put a game inside)? if so can you see any files in it? or do you just see purple cubes with corrupted data as the heading? can you save some games, but not others, or is it 100% incompatible with all games?

please answer these questions and i may be able to help you

edit: action replay is basically a cheats CD which sometimes comes with a USB Memory card. in my experience the usb mem card is more trouble than its worth, so if everything fails i suggest getting a new mem card from ebay (get a 64mb one, it rocks!)

I can open it on the ps2 explorer but it says there is no saved data and I can't save or copy any of my games on it.

some times i get the whole corrupted data thing when this happens ether i blow on my memory card are i format it if none of these work than their is one thing to do buy a new memory card.

I had this with the patched version of Wining Eleven 10. After the patch it was called Wining Eleven 11.

After i saved the formations etc. i wasn't be able to delete or copy any of my files.

I went to the options of Wining Eleven 11, and deleted all the files. After that i was be able to save again.

But most of the games hasn't that option, that you can delete a savefile from the option of that game self.

Just think what game you've saved the last time and try to delete it, if you can delete that, i'm sure you wille be save any games.

I hope it's an Pes or Wining Eleven game, because other game's hasn't that feature and you can't delete it. You most buy an new memory card.
