Ripping a DVD and editing it's Subtitle. How ?

Hi, I'm new here so I don't know here to post this.

I have a new dvd and the subtitles are out of sync.

My question is,

1. How to rip the DVD and place it in my HD. (Sorry, I'm really new to this DVD ripping :( ). What software will I use ?

2. If #1 is done, then what am I gonna do if I would like to see the subtitle file. What software will I use ?

3. How can I properly sync it with the main movie ? SOftware ?

4. After I've done 1-3, what to do next ?


I hope someone will answer me.

I really want this movie to get fixed, so please help me.

As long as you don't remove the subs when ripping or encoding the above software should keep the subpicture that you want the way it is on the original disc. If you have to manipulate the subs try this...

about the Subtitle Processor, I can't open my ripped dvd's. An error is always promting. "Can not render one or more DVD stream"..

Is there any subtitle programs out there ?
I really need to sync the movie and the subtitle so badly.. :(

Is the source a download or a DVD rip? As I stated in my first post...if you leave the subs alone and encode with DVD Shrink there should be no problems with the subs. Everything should play as intended from the original.
