Hey all, I have a Japanese PS2 with swap magic 3.6 Cd & DVD disks. Now I was wondering if there is any way to play PSX backups and imports with this set up, or do I need something else. I really need a answer cause I just got a bunch of import PS1 games and I have no way to play them.
swap magic cannot play ps1 games, i believe only a modchip can play backup burned ps1 games. as for imports, not even sure what they are, coudl u explain?

An import would be something like an Japanese game playing on a American PS2.
well i'm not sure if imports would work, why don't u try? ps2 is backwards compatible, so maybe it might. japan is NTSC, like US. but i know that swap magic cannot load burned ps1 games, thats for a modchip
