Is it possible to use online multiplayer when running game backups from the R4DS?
Mario Kard DS, Diddy Kong Racing, Metroid Hunters etc?

Yes it is, I've tried it on my R4DS, and it works fine.

The only thing i've heard that might cause problems is if you trim your roms. I've never actually tried to use a trimmed rom, but just in case.
Any confirmation on this?

Typically it's Download Play that is broken when trimming some ROMs though WFC could also be broken. Some ROMs have non-working Download Play by default when used with the R4DS or M3DSS - check the link in my signature for a list.

In my experience, trimmed roms cause a little bit of lag.

In the new 1.11 kernal from the R4 download web page, doesn't it allow download play? Cuz if it does, that would rock so hard!

Yes, it does. Still some issues, though, Mario Kart works now.

I haven't been able to connect using roms and a R4, I can connect without a problem with real games, but with roms it doesn't connects, I get a message when I try to connetc that says: "Nintendo Wifi Connection treats your nintendo DS game CArd and Nintendo DS as a set. SAvi this Nintendo DS system's Nintendo WFC configuration to this game card and connect to Nintendo WFC?"
Then I say Ok, it tries to connect and then it gives me an error: error code 51300.
If I go to settings, it does detects my router , but if I do a test it jst won't connect.
When I use a real game I don't have this problem, and it's with the same router, any one have an Idea of what might be wrong?
thanks in advaced

I managed to fix it, by just turning the router to WEp key authentification sahred, instead of Open, but that way, non of my other wireless tools works! So I have to change it everytime i want to play! hey, but at least I can play. BTW it's a 2 wire router.
