I am interested in starting a DJ service just for some local events around my town this summer. I am looking for some different sound systems but I want to spend the least money possible on speakers. I have 7 fairly large ones in my room right now. BUT! I don't know if they how to "plug them in" to an amp or sound board.

Any help would be GREAT!

thanks

buying cheap pro equiment isn't wise, theres lots of good brands of speakers on the market JBL and EV being two of my favs.

i had a Moble DJ setup for 10 years and used a pair of EV speakers running them with a Halfer 500 watt amp and never had any trouble with either thats the backbone of your system.

the speakers will run to the amp and the amp to the soundboard/mixer
