Buy a Wii ...
Talk me out of it ..or convince me I am right ...
but it seems they are pretty rare ?? though I havn't looked hard
is it worth it yet ...(game wise??) Initially I would want Zelda, tennis, and something stupid fun to play stoned (sudgestions welcome)
I breifly looked into mod chips and it looks like these are pretty easy to mod, am I right in thinking a DL dvd burner and mod chip are all you need (assuming you have the right brand drive to rip the game)
what are more good / bad things I dont know about .... what is the most anticipated game of Wii

I was a BIG xbox 360 fan but thought a Wii must be fun if there so popular. So I got one its neat but it dont really interest me that much. Maybe they will come out with new games in the future that I would like to play but for now I wish I wouldent have bought it.
Now thats just MY opinion! Im not bashing the system or anything I think the controller is a very neat idea. I just wish I wouldent have spent the money on it, it sits here collecting dust even my kid age 13 shows hardly any interest in it. But like I said maybe they will come out with some must have games and make me glad I got it.

I will just say one thing... theres a reason they are hard to find.. and a lot more are being produced than the ps3s which I have seen at almost all the local stores in stock, but never have seen a wii in stock.
Not a lot of games right now, but soon.

I heard somewhere that Mario Cart is in production and will include online play.
c7015: I enjoy playing virtual console games, and Wii sports when I'm messed up. Excite Truck is really fun as well.

Mario Kart Wii is in production and might include online and should come early next year,Mario Strikers charged is also comming with online (Mario soccer game)
some mor egames that might interest you that are comming to the Wii.

is virtual console that much differnt then roms ... right now I can play roms all I want ...refer to sig
& wont I have to pay for them on virtual console ...
I dont think there are any Wii's where I live anyway so I'm tempted to cave and get 360, when I looked at prices there basically the same after you get everything you need to play, I can borrow buddies games too which is an advantage,
but I really think the wii is the better choice gameplay wise the remote is just too much of an advantage.
what is the estimated wait time on them ??

after more thought there is no way I would get a 360 .... I will for sure get wii

yeah I could see that happening, what games did you get for your wii? My favorite games are almost all games that would be amazingly different with the wimote, I played tiger woods alot on PS2 and I just saw they have it for wii ... I have played it on 360 and its great, but no different from PS2 (with better graphics). I have never got to use a wii (lol) so I dont know what to expect from the remote ... I hope its not hype ??

u can get marrio cart in Wii Shop as well as mario 64

I dnt know about you guys but i was dying to get tht Wii Orchestra! ya know, the one were play the conductor and command the instruments to tunes such as the zelda theme! p.s is tht actually being released as a game or am i gunna have to kidnap an actual orchestra and hold a gun to there heads to get em to let me do such a thing!!!

I've had a 360 for about a year now and I've been a huge fan of it. I got a Wii this week and I've had loads of fun with it. My the games I have to play on it now are Wii Sports, Wii play along with Zelda and Red Steel both of which I got with the blockbuster game pass.

thts ok! wii orchestra wud be cool but im afraid it was just a demo game to show off the wii's gameplay! check it out at youtube! they got some good clips of it in action! god! it makes me wnt it all the more! ah well bak to playin final fantasy 12 i guess!
