Play NTSC Gamecube backups on Pal Wii

Hi guys, ive got a PAL wii with the wiinja modchip, and i understand that you can play NTSC gamecube backups on the PAL wii if you convert them, or use a swap disk

can anyone provide me with some info on this please?

Try this:

Put a PAL disc in your Wii and turn on.
Go to the disc channel and compose yourself.
Hover the cursor over the start game icon.
Press eject. The start button stays lit for about a second, just before it fades activate it.
Quick as you can whip out your PAL disc and insert the NTSC one.
Now your game should start up if you were quick enough.

I know the above method to be working with original games and from what I understand about the mod's this should work with back-up disks so long as you have a chip installed. Good luck.

i dont think the quickness would work but you could try

there is a program out there for that but i have not herd anything really good about and therfor have not try it

Trust me "the quickness" works. It took me a couple of goes to get it right but the trick is, is to leave the start button illuminated for as long as possible otherwise the console just shuts down. Oh, and no fumbling around, disc out, disc in. Hey presto!

Yip, it works like a bomb! Boot my NTSC-J and PAL games on my US Wii. The timing must be perfect.
