It freezes on pc and dvd player..
DVDR which is true. Just having bad luck I guess.

rock i bought some at supermediastore as well awhile back had the exact same problem its not your burner,pc,its the media.

You did not mention your drive model, its firmware version, the speed rating of the disc, the type of disc, or its MID code. All of these together may indicate an incompatibility problem rather than a quality problem. (Incompatibility applies to Taiyo Yuden as well as to any other media manufacturer, and the TY DVD+R discs have had issues with compatibility because they were late to market.)
