Emule doesn't let me share folders (help?)

After reading the beautifully written "Little eMule Tutorial" here, I still can't figure out why emule doesn't let me navigate to specific folders inside my external hard drive. It displays all the folders in my local drives, but when I click the button to expand the external hard drive's folders, only 2 are visible.

Anybody know why?
Thanks in advance for ANY help. :)

EDIT: I found the culprit, and I'll post it in case others have this problem. I'm using Windows XP and I customized many of my folders with background images (by editing the Desktop.ini file). Any folders with this customization can't be added in emule. The same goes for folders that only had a customized icon.

If anyone has done the same thing but you were able to add those folders in emule, I'd be happy to know what you did. :)
