OK i am about to sell my psp to buy a new because the one i got is gay ******3.10****** any wayz i found today at target a ps pwith a TA-082 motherboard with a 2.71 can i upgrade to any dark alex's cfw? all i want to do is(change font, xmb wallpapper ,play backups and tons of mind blowing hombrew like irshell....etc) any tips any what should i do?

PS new chrome faceplate for the new psp=)

yup new one is acceptable, u'll have to downgrade to 1.5 first before installing a custom firmware, but the one u described will work.

So when i get my new psp i have to downgrade to 1.5,but with my motherbard is there anyrisk of bricking it? and is there and downgrade installer for my psp im going to buy?

there's always a slight chance of bricking....

there is a downgrade installer or tutorial type thing, it's in HEXITNOW's signature.
