I got the xodus matrix modchip in 2005 and just now getting around to installing it the problem im having is flashing it iv tryed Wmilk, winLCD, Xodus Programmer on 6 computers and got the 6th to READ it with the Xodus Programmer says flash Unknown! when try and write to it. It also reads a bios on the chip but im not sure if its a dummy bios that its reading-> Bios :Unknown Flash :yes Staus :idel MD5 : xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxa55 (x=uknown numbers)so i installed it and lights on chip work fine and games boot its like nothings changed as far as software but it will not read anything other then xbox meida.Iv burnt Evox Bios on cd with xiso software and Nero following a how to guide. Its been 7 days searching and can not find a post on reflashing the matrix bios or what UNKNOW FLASH! Means it dont even try to flash the chip it just pops out the error. Im also wondering if its to do with the LPT ports settings all mine are set on SPP Iv tryed all i can think of. Been burning Verbalim DVD-R and CD-R iso's and no luck so im sure its a flashing problem.I have 6 computers here at the house 2 running vista(amd) 1 with 2000(HP laptop) another with xp(? 1999) and one with 98(1996). The PC with win98 works to read as stated above but the others will NOT read it at all. The bios im trying to flash is evox 8 from x-b-o-x.net site so i know its good and when i load it in the programmer it give the right MD5 numbers.
