Hello I am new to the Wii modding scene, however I do have alot of experience in the xbox scene. I have a few questions as I am starting out...
1) With the mod chips currently available, what type of quality would you rate them (ie. are the capable of doing almost everything desired, play backup games, homebrew, etc.) or are they still full of bugs, and limited to features. (If I mod my Wii, I don't want to have to remod it later)also which is the best modchip available
2) Is there a softmod route I can take? If so what type of quality would you rate this? and which are available...
3) Would I be able to install a larger HDD on my Wii and backup my games directly to the HDD like with xbox?
4) What is the best website for information on Wii Modding?
5) Finally is this really just in the early stages or is it worth going through with now if I don't want to have it mod it again?

also are there switches available, is there any information on whether you can get band or anything like xbox live?

hey. i saw that you are pretty experienced on xbox-scene. someone modded my xbox for me so i dont really know how to add stuff to it. no modchip, it was just a hard drive mod. all i want to know is how to add other emulators such as n64 and gboy.

also, for the wii, im getting an action replay and a gecko sdloader. i heard thats the way to go to add emulators and roms for the wii.

lemme know if ya can help me with the xbox and if ya know anything bout the wii also
