Well i just purchased Olevia Silver 32" 16:9 8ms HD LCD TV Model 332H
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16889022022 and i have an hd box but dont want one at the moment although i have a regular Io Box in living room this tv is in my kitchen and i just want to watch tv but it doesnt have a coaxial port so should i purchase a vcr or do they make a adapters like coax->Composite or Componet

If you look at the stats for the set, it doesn't have a tuner, thus no cable input. You'll have to get some kind of cable box, or like you suggest, a VCR with a tuner; and connect it to the AVI input.
