If this isn't allowed to be talked about in this forum, i apologize in advance, or if this is in the wrong topic.
I just recently purchased a a fliptop with magic swap 3 from a place called GoCyberShop in Canada.
The DVD-Rom disc works just fine, but the cd-rom disc doesn't work at all. I lent the disc to my friends who have the flip lid, and it wouldn't work for them either.
I emailed Magic Swap and they have not responded yet.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I can't play any of my PSX games, or PS2 based cd-rom games without that disc...
any help would be appreciated.
Firstly, you won't be able to play PS1 backups with Swap Maigc, you need a gameshark for that. As for the PS2 CD SM disk, what condition is the disk in? Any scratches? Also, what version of PS2 you using, as some (very) old models have trouble reading CD Disks?
Oh, i didn't know that swap magic didn't support PSX discs, so that was my mistake. I do have some gameshark discs, but i do not have the memory card plug in for them, so i guess they would be no good to me.
I have Action Replay Max, if you think that will work for the PSX games?
The PSX games aren't really much of a concern, since i do have a PSX system, i just figured i could kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak...
I guess the only thing i'm concerned with, are the CD based PS2 games.
My PS2 model is SCPH 30001 if that helps...
