can anyone make game shark codes or explain to me how they are made so i can make them b/c www.gameshark.com is no longer up and running

gameshark.com came up for me, but i think what they do is read the code from the game and wherever they can alter it for a cheat by using the gameshark program they put in their own lines for more exp money whatever.
