This is my first time building my own computer. I was thinking of getting one of these mother boards

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128323

also this Core 2 duo E6600 processor,
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115003

One of my questions is which is a better motherboard?

I am using two hard drives in my present computer,
seagate 400gb-master
seagate 300gb-slave

Will I be able to use my hard drives on the new computer without losing the information on them. I have a lot of progams I would like to use on the new system.

What else will I need to get the new system runnig?

Is there a walk-thru or guide to use when building?

Is this processor good for playing games, backing up movies, editing music and some document writing?

And finally how do you overclock the processor?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
