I just purchased my first Nintendo system since the original. I've been strictly a Playstation fanboy for the last years. I was never much into the games that Nintendo produced, but my daughter wanted the Wii...so here I am. I was surprised to see that there are some interesting games coming out. Godfather, Scarface, Tiger Woods. It's looking better to me. What does everyone think about the gameplay for these? I find it hard to imagine that they will live up to the other systems. Obviously the actual gameplay will be vastly different, with the Wii controler, etc. I was just interested in what everyone else thought about this.

It will be much better Ps2x 110times Wii is better then any orthe console out right now and in the Next 5 years it will still be the best Ps3 is a rip off and all it has above the Wii si a 200mhz faster video card and nothing else 360 is about a Wii but crappy gameplay.
Wii is a great console with alot of power that hasnt been shown yet the Wii right now has about Xbox graphics whihc was a 190mhz Video card but the wii has a 343mhz card means we will get double of the current stuff.

I agree that the PS3 is overpriced from a strictly gaming point. I'm not sure how much I would use it as a movie player. I was torn about getting one, because I really enjoy playing SOCOM, but currently without any rumble feedback that really blows. I don't agree with the 360 being crappy gameplay. I actually was going to purchase that system, but at the last moment chose the Wii, mainly because my daughter wanted to play it. I'm looking forward to more things from the Wii though....

Man I cant wait to get my hands on a wii .... till then I cant really say, but I wouldn't go to the extent your two are about the 360 and PS3. All the systems out right now have their merrits. I had a bunch of fun playing my buddies 360 on the HD plasma at my house all blazed ...

do you honestly think the wii is capable of producing similar graphics to the 360? I was under the impression I would never see the same kind of "detail" on the wii that I could with the other systems. I didnt find the gameplay shitty either but I really have to find a wii soon to say for sure.

I don't think the Wii will produce graphics similar to the 360. I don't own an Xbox but have put some time in on my nephews. Gears of War is one amazing game. And that wasn't on an HD TV. That was one of the main reasons I was going to purchase it. I thought the game was that fun and incredible looking. Hopefull I will get some time on the Wii tonight, but I only have the sports pack and Happy Feet...so who knows...

Wii will produce an Image about 4x better then a Ps2......
Gt4 graphics x 4 is the maxumin.
