I am using the latest version of Nero 7. I am using Nero vision to burn a movie that I edited of TV. During editing the program kept crashing. I finally was able to edit the movie by saving it every few minutes and then reopening Nero vision. When I go to burn the disk, the program just closes down half way through the process. I was able to export the movie to the hard drive with Nero vision okay, but I want to burn it to dvd. Has anyone had this problem. I emailed their tech support but have not got an answer. Using windows xp pro sp-2. I tried to uninstall Nero and then used the removal tool and reinstalled. Same problem. I use clone dvd and it works fine so I know my burner is good.

Hello

You might uninstall Nero, run the Nero 7 Clean Tool, and then reinstall Nero. The latest version 7.7.5.1 seems OK but some are still using 7.5.9.0. All versions are available here:

Be sure to run the Nero 7 Clean Tool after uninstalling your current version and before reinstalling a new version. It wouldn't hurt to run the Driver Clean Tool either:

Crashing could also be caused by not having enough memory especially during editing. 512MB is the minimum and if your video uses part of that, things can get dicey. You also cannot have other programs open if your memory is limited.

Since you have your project ready for burning, try using ImgBurn; it's free.

If you have a folder of DVD video files use the Build mode of ImgBurn to create an ISO image file and then use the Write mode to burn the image to a blank disk.
