I'm not sure if this was said before or you know but doesn't Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria has its own built-in cheat device? From what I've heard, if you do cheat, later on, it'll cause your save file to become corrupted, and therefore, unusable. Maybe it's the result for a few specific cheat devices like Gameshark? I don't know for certain so does anyone want to add some clarity on this and on the thread starter's behalf?

By the way, from what I've also overheard, if you do intend to cheat, there's certain checkpoints within the game that checks for any sort of modifications. There's a list somewhere but I'm afraid I'm not sure either where that's located of where the checkpoints are within VP:S. If cheats work with Action Replay, then congratulations. I've only heard of either a blank response or a complaint about user rights for them not being allowed to cheat.
