can you scan the picture on the front of a disc (dvd or cd)or will scanning it mess up the disc

Simply make sure the scanner is Clean before scanning.

They're Right if the scanner would hurt the label surface of a DVDor Cd then it probably would damage photo's text or any other original you put in it ! But that does'nt happen so no worries !
