i know theres a thread talking about video conversion, but that one is muddled with video length and lack-of-software-converter questions.

anyways, i been havin issues converting video ever since i got this. it plays music great and stuff but conversion has pretty much never worked. the ones that do "work" and transfer end up playing for like 8 seconds with really crappy audio, then it stops, white lines appear every other pixel, and the player reboots.

ive tried mpeg-1, XviD AVI and even ipod formats to convert but none of them are supported, or so says the converter. is there some way to make it work, or some other converter i can use and manually transfer onto the sansa?

also.... for some reason, i have to use USB mode since my laptop [getting a new one in 2 weeks] dont recognize any of my mp3 players recently as MTP devices... it always says "device cannot start [code 10]" for this one and my creative zen vision:m
