I just got some Sony 16x DVD+R (made in japan) I heard that these are the same as Tayeo Yeudns (dont know about spelling). Also I just popped one of these in and apparently my DVD burner cant booktype, will they still work on my ps2?

Song DVDs are one of the Top DVD-R, and about Booktype im not sure about that part since i had never had to use it with DVD-R. I think u are using DVD+R?

Best media: Verbatim 8x burnt at 4x, or Taiyo Yuden 8x burnt at 4x.

I find it easier to just buy the official versions of discs, no concerns or stress.

What's the media ID? That's the determining factor in who makes it rather than the Brand(i.e. Sony).

As for booktyping, what's the id of your burner? Check in device manager.
