Alot of people I know are afraid of modding their wii's so early on. Does anyone have concerns about a future Nintendo firmware update being able to detect their modded systems and possibly cancel, deactivate or render their wii's unusable?

Know one wants to answer this? The reason why I am asking is because my wiikey is on its way and I want to know if I should to an internal or external install. External being used to easily remove the modchip before connecting to the internet.
