Thanks a million Jasper...i know staples will have them for sure...When i do go to wally world i always get the 2 30packs...versus buying the 50pack....you come out better buying the 30packs cause you get 10 more discs for like 5 bucks.

For what it's worth Samsclub has Verbatim 8x DVD+R's for $12.99 per cakebox of 50 ! don't know if that's same at all samsclub but saw the price today @ the NEW SAMS in Baton Rouge la. For those who like real 8x media instead of 16x burned @ 8X !

@BIGTOXY69

If I didn't have so much media now, I'd jump on the Sam's Verbatim sale. That's a damn good price for damn good media!

Is there something about the 8X media that would make it better than the 16X (other than you might be able to get it a little cheaper)? If I bought the 8X I would burn it at 4X since I never burn at faster than half speed.

If your machine is clean and up to date, you can burn those Verbs at 8X without issues. I burn 8X TYs at 8X every day. I do burn 16X Verbs at 8X tho. I really never burn faster than 8X.
