Hopefully someone could help me with this. I have had problems with burning with Nero so i uninstalled it. Now, I get this pop-up whenever I try to play certain video files or click on certain files when in a folder. The pop-up says,

"This program requires the file advrcntr2.dll, which was not found on this system."

Please help!!! Thank you.

I'm not especially familiar with error codes or pop up windows that say something is wrong with my computer. However I have attempted to uninstall Nero with very bad results. My E: and F: drives disapeared. Check to see if all of your drives are present. My only fix for this was to do a system restore. Start > accessories > system tools > system restore.

There has been a number of threads in the last 2 weeks relating to this subject. I have gone back a couple of days and located this one, there are others also as I said, a simple back search will locate them. Hopefully this one will solve your problem
