DVD Shrink - Combining 2 DVDs to 1

OK I have 2 4.7 DVDs that I have compress to be able to fit onto 1 4.7 DVD. What I am wondering is HOW do I do this exactly? What I have now are 8 files of the same exact names in 2 different folders. One folder for disk 1 and one folder for disk 2. I plan on using Nero 6 to burn these files to DVD but I am assuming that I have to rename some of the files first. How do I know what to rename them?

Here is a list of the file names in folder 1:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB

The file names for folder 2 are the exact same. These 2 DVDs are of Super Bowl 30. I am just trying to compress the files to fit on ONE DVD.
