I am having major issues with the DVM audio codec, I rarely need to ask a question about video editing but I am stumped with this codec. I know it is a form of AC3 but it won't play on my DVD player like everything else that is run through this script will :

mencoder -ovc lavc -oac lavc -ffourcc DX50 -o
I have a DivX DVD player which is not picky at all when it comes to file formats. So can someone hook me up? I tried google to no avail even with proper search operators(+,or,and). I am using Linux obviously, I have all the proper codecs in place unless this is some brand new codec and still even then I have never had this problem cause I rsync my system with Gentoo's portage daily.
