I just got my cyclowiz from modchipstore.com, and I have a few questions before i get started. Firstly, how important is the upgrade feature? I am already nervous about doing the quick solder part let alone adding wires. Secondly, how difficult is it to remove the triwing screws with a flathead. I removed one at the surface of the wii, but i've read the 3/4" deep triwings are next to impossible, is this true? Lastly, i bought a 25 watt soldering iron beforing reading carefully about the temperature needed, the box says it reaches 750 degrees, and i know thats too much, but any room for company error? Maybe making their product sound better than it is? Thanks for all your help, i tried to search through the forums first but sorry if i repeated some questions already asked

unless you update the cyclowiz (the update came out today) you'll be stuck with the drive only working at 2x .. the update lets the drive operate at the normal 6x plus extra features. It's not much extra work, just make sure you use some thin wire (as mentioned in the thread I link to below)

there is some good info in this thread about soldering the cyclowiz: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/470328

I used a 25W soldering iron with no problem, just make sure you have a wet sponge for cleaning the iron as per instructions from carbon14 in the thread I mentioned above.

good luck! :)
