DVD-Rebuilder seems to be the front-end standard tool, but which is its best companion?
HC is native to it, but I am told that CCE produces comparable results and is faster.
Would the native interaction make HC better (I have seen a number of guides for that combo) or does it work just as well to use CCE and benefit from a bit of a speed boost?
How comparable are the end results and is there a person / site who has done a comparison table?
you are better off asking your question in the DVDRebuilder forum to get more results from members. But, I love DVDRebuilder with CCE! it's the best for quality and it is faster, so I've been told. I never used HC so I don't know how long it would take to do a movie with it so I can't compare times with each encoder. But from what I read about CCE is the best with ProCoder2 not far behind. I tried to do a comparison with both encoders a long time ago and this is the best I came up with:
can you tell the difference between ProCoder2 and CCE? It's hard but I like CCE because of it's speed! Definitely faster than ProCoder2
