I bought two 50 packs of MCC-004 Verbatim branded media. On the inner clear hub the code indicates it is a prodisk made batch. My previous 50 pack batch of MCC-004 was PAPA stamped and it gave me very high quality scores.

These new Prodisk made ones are not so good! Any opinions.

Yes, my 16X MCC-004s are PAPA with numbers on the inner hub, and have been good discs. I haven't scanned any, since I don't put much emphasis on scans. Very hard to see these letters. I had to use a magnifying glass and tilt it to light just right.

i've got 100s of the Taiwanese MCC004's (hub codes of 'PAH6..........'). I can only do 4x on them, on any of my many PC's, on either internal burners or USB burners. I should have learnt my lesson when i had a blip with MCC004 a year or so back..
however they do burn ok at 4x and (so far) have had none skip on me
