Azureus and McAfee Problem

Hi all,
I have recently joined sky broadband. Along with sky broadband i have recieved McAfee. Now - I installed Azureus but when configuring Azureus and when it tests the "Incoming TCP Listen Port" 29749 I recieve the following error:

"Testing port 29749 ...
NAT Error - Connection attempt to 90.196.225.127:29749 aborted: timed out after 20sec."

Not only that - the downloads are extremely slow - where it used to take hours to download something (with my previous ISP) - it now takes days.

Can anyone help please?

Try enabling Protocol Encryption: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 and disable UPnP: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/UPnP Don't run the Windows firewall with the McAfee firewall and ensure Azureus has been granted access.

Mcafee isn't your problem, as long as you allow Azureus access to the internet when mcafee asks you if it should allow Azureus to call out, it works fine.
Moost likely you're behind a router that needs port forwarding, so check http://www.portforward.com/
