Ok guys I'm new so hi all.
I have been bitten buy the dvd burning bug.
I am trying to put my old avi's onto dvd's so to watch on my dvd player.
But I have run into a problem.
I am using Winavi to encode my avi's to mpeg2, the reason is so I can then open them in Tmpg Author Pro so to create a menu, chapters etc.
Now the problem is I just seem to keep getting this message when I try to open the file in Tmpg:

Now on the settings in Winavi, I goto the advanced options and force it to 4:3, but I still get the message. Is it something to do with the resolution, as I have tried 352x288 for PAL, and 352x240 for NTSC.
I'm really not too clued up on this all. I'd appreciate some help :)
