I purchased the wiinja when there was no other chips. I'm fed up with DRE's and I read that with the new wiinja deluxe (which is upgradeable as well) those DRE problems disappear. Since I'm going to have to buy a new chip anyway I might as well get a solid one this time. I don't want to buy the wiinja deluxe only to have it suck as well! So where are we in this game right now? There's a lot more chips out now. Lets go over the pros and cons of all of them and crown a winner!

i have had no problems out of my wiikey, and pretty easy to install.
Front Load NES, DreamCast, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, MacBook Pro (w/ Laser Etching), iPhone 8Gb (w/ Laser Etching)

I havent gotten one yet but i heard Wiikey is so far the best or something.
I dont think you will be able to name them all LOL! in 2 years time.

Fair enough. So just to clarify your post, what do you mean by "in 2 years time"? There aren't that many wii chips. less than 10 to be sure

so its not only me. ...anyways, this thread would be more helpful if it was on-topic. from what i surmise wiikey is the best, and that's about it. yay learning...

From what I have been reading I agree ^^ but it also seems like there are still too many issues with the chips as well ... I am going to hold off till we have some more options ... its not as if there are that many must have games right now anyway.

wiikey is not the best as a matter of facts. They're having problems with some gamecubes because of the audiofix, which lead to dre. One of the games that doesn't work for the wiikey is naruto. I tested naruto on wiinja deluxe and the results is perfect, no slow load or dre. So in my opinion the wiinja deluxe is the best. I have played all my wii with no dre.

if naruto [shipuuden: gekitou ninja taisen ex?] doesn't work with wiikey, then i am definitely getting the wiinja deluxe for my wii [when the wii comes out in black]. i bought a gamecube because of naruto gnt 3+4, so it would be the same kinda deal for gnt ex being a must-have.
