I got it and am pretty happy with it. My question tho, It only makes covers in a goldish color (white) or almost grey (black). Is there any way to change this?

The color (mostly black or grey) is determined by the disc itself not the drive. Unless they start producing discs with different colors this is all you will get, but I like the black myself and it isn't going anywhere.
