I have a Dell XPS 400 computer w/ a Phillips 8701 DVD+/-RW drive which will only play dvd's, but does not recognize a music or data CD. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver several times w/ no luck. The darn thing is just over a year old, and hardly used...and out of warrenty! Any idias/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
