I have a some video files encoded into OGM/MKV. In order to watch the video, I first had to convert to AVI using OGM2AVI, which worked really well. The quality is superb in my DivX Player. Now I'd like to take all my AVI files and put them onto a DVD so I can watch them on my TV in my DVD player. In trying to do so, I've came across two problems.
Problem 1:
Some of the AVI files have Japanese Audio compressed with English Audio. My DivX player will allow me to toggle between the two audio tracks, but when I try to import the AVI file to Nero Express, I only get the Japanese track on the ones that have the Japanese Audio compressed as the first audio file. The ones that have English first play in English. I tried to take the AVI file apart with AVI2DVD, but the video get's cropped in the process.
Problem 2:
Each AVI file take up about 250Mb - 300Mb of space, which means I can put up to 15 files onto a 4.7gig DVD, which is what I'd like to do. When I use AVI2DVD, it makes the files larger and I can only put 2 or 3 Videos onto one DVD.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my Video files onto a DVD so I can watch them on my DVD player and yet preserve the Video quality, with only the English Audio, and save space to put at least 15 files per disk? I'm new to DVD Authoring.
