hi, i a thinking about getting a mac book though i had never used a mac properly, i was wondering what file types of video can play on the mac.

i main purpose of a computer is internet, music, playing/burning dvds, and watching videos so can they play DivX, XviD, mpg, etc.

should play any video/audio file, just need the codecs for them. The only ones i needed was DivX and WMV both are free
