I tried to install a wiikey into my console. After 4 hours of shaky bad soldering it didn't want to work, i went back to it the next day and then gave up.

The thing is, after i put it all back together again the sensor for the drive doesn't work. i.e. it doesn't detect when a disk is being inserted or know when a disk has gone out far enough for you to remove it from the drive, it now just spits it out and the disk rolls off the desk and onto the floor, the wii is still running the eject mechanism. Eject button works fine and when you turn on the console it automatically runs the insert mechanism so i can get games in and out of it ok. But i bought a new wii pre-chipped so i'm now looking to sell this one.

Does anyone have any idea on how i might fix the drive sensor or whether it's just not worth it and to leave it alone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
