Hello all that read this post.

I am looking for an alternative soldering point for number 1 pad on my wii, I have soldered wires 2,3,4,5 and 6 successfully but burnt of pad 1 (the larger pad on its own) it doesnt have any traces to follow like pads 3,4,5 and 6.
Any help would be greatly apprecated, pictures would be a real bonus.

i had this problem on another point with a Wii. this was my 3rd one installing it on and to be honest it was my personal one... yeah didnt get to mine first. But anyway I sold it and got a new one.

I would try to use some Desoldering braid and clean the pad off. Then go to radio shack and get the circuit pen. I guess you can draw your own traces. well see if you can draw on the pad and then apply your solder to that.
