hello
i have a friend who has never copied dvd's before. they only have one drive and only have Nero startsmart no shrink or decrypter etc is it possible to copy them with only this programme? i know they are freeware but she;s wary about downloading them..
i have no idea as i use shrink and then Nero start smart i also have two drives.. they have asked me and i cant help
i thought someone out there will know
can she even save it to hard drive this way?

No.
Assure that what you are installing for her is safe.
Install DVD_Shrink and DVD_Decrypter.
Then install RipIt4Me and run the program.
That will get you started but there's a lot more to backing up movies. The guides at this site will provide tons of information.

thanks very much for clearing that up for us.. i didnt think so but couldnt be sure..
i use shrink then just burn it with Nero and have never had any probs.. i dont have dycrypter or ripit4me, though now im wondering if i'm missing something..lol.. oh and i have DVD43
i'll go read up on them.. im sure now you've said she'll let me install them for her..
