AVESEQ001.dat on DVD

I would like to burn an MPEG2 (SVCD-compliant file) to file as AVSEQ001.dat format. I would then like to take many of these AVESEQ001.dat files and burn them on a DVD disk as data files.

The purpose is simply to take many SVCD-format files and put them on one medium so I can have some 2 hours worth of viewing, rather than change CDs every half-an-hour.

Is it?s doable? How?
