Help Please On Recovering Data from Hard Drive

Hi,

I desperatley need some help, my PC failed the other day so i took the hard drive out and fitted it into a equivalent machine in order to recover my data base but when it boots up i get the safe mode screen, after i select ANY of the options available including start with last known good configaration it just re boots back to the safe mode screen and will not go any further, is there any other way i can access this drive ie by making it a slave on to another machine.
I desperatley need to recover this data so any help would be greatly receieved.

you can try making it slave or buy an encloser kit. same thing happened to a friend of mine(his was a notebook hdd) an with the kit he was able to access his files.
